BRP continues to expand its lineup of Can-Am off road vehicles with the unveiling of a trio of new 2019 Can-Am Maverick Sport models.
BRP has taken the covers off of three new Can-Am Maverick Sport models – the Maverick Sport MAX DPS, Maverick Sport X rc and Maverick Sport X mr. This comes just months after the original Maverick Sport was revealed this past spring.
Can-Am Maverick Sport MAX DPS

It was no surprise to see a four-seat version of the 60-inch Can-Am Maverick Sport introduced. BRP has a MAX version of the majority of its off-road vehicles and the newest is the 2019 Can-Am Maverick Sport MAX DPS.
Here is what BRP has to say about the newest four-seat Maverick:
“The Can-Am Maverick Sport MAX DPS 1000R delivers multi-passenger excitement in a daring, precise and confident package. The versatile performance side-by-side vehicle is perfectly tuned for trails with its spot-on power, handling and suspension calibration. A performance-grade suspension system with FOX 2.0 PODIUM Piggyback shocks with QS3 adjustment, power steering, and 60-in. (152.4 cm) width offer predictable control and sharpened handling. A strong, rear-mounted Rotax V-Twin engine supplies optimal performance and reduces cockpit noise.

“Meaningful designs and functions include an advanced Ergo-lok cockpit and longer wheelbase for superior comfort and roominess for four riders. To enrich the interior comfort, four ERGOPRINT seats, additional foot rests and passenger grab bars complement the driver’s standard amenities. Its wide, premium half doors, signature grill and LED lighting boldly display its Maverick X3 vehicle heritage while also adding to its polished fit-and-finish.
“More than 200 accessories are available at launch to let owners customize the vehicle to fit their needs. The Maverick Sport MAX DPS 1000R has a starting price of $18,999 US.”
Can-Am Maverick Sport X rc

Following on the heels of the Can-Am Maverick X3 X rc Turbo that was released one year ago, the new Can-Am Maverick Sport X rc ($21,299) is ready for rock crawling and right out of the box.
Outfitted with a 100-horsepower 1000R engine, this machine offers up a 64-inch stance, 15 inches of ground clearance, front tow hook, full skid plate, integrated front bumper, HMW rock sliders, HMW front and rear suspension protectors, and HMW front differential guard. It also comes standard with half doors, 4,500-pound winch with synthetic rope, dynamic power steering, and ErgoPrint X-package seats. But it’s the suspension (14.75 inches of travel on all four corners) that really sets this model apart from the base Maverick Sport.

“The inclusion of Smart-Lok with ROCK and TRAIL modes, high-grade FOX 2.5 PODIUM QS3 shocks, arched A-arms, larger Maxxis tires and Dynamic Power Steering provide exceptional maneuverability when the going gets rough,” BRP says in a release.
Connecting the Maverick Sport X rc to the ground are 30-inch Maxxis Liberty tires wrapped around 14-inch aluminum wheels.
Maverick Sport X mr

Can-Am has long been a heavyweight in the mud riding field, so the new Can-Am Maverick Sport X mr ($20,999) makes a lot of sense.
This machine comes equipped with a 100-horsepower 976cc V-Twin, snorkeled air and engine intakes, Smart-Lok with MUD and TRAIL modes, 65-inch stance, and 15 inches of ground clearance.

As for suspension, the Maverick Sport X mr features arched A-arms and FOX 2.5 Podium QS3 shocks – each controlling 14.75 inches of travel.
The X mr package also comes with 14-inch cast aluminum wheels, 30-inch ITP Cryptid tires, 4,500-pound winch with synthetic rope, front tow hook, integrated front bumper, and heavy duty HMW polyethylene skid plate.
