ITP Releases New 30-Inch BajaCross and UltraCross Tire Sizes

Looking to expand its family of off-road tires to keep up with consumer demands, ITP has added new 30-inch tire sizes to its BajaCross and UltraCross lineups.
For the BajaCross, ITP has added a big, bold 30x10R-14 size. “This beast not only provides greater ground clearance to help a machine get over tougher obstacles, but because of a new, lightweight design it also offers better flexibility for an all-around boost in grip, handling and ride comfort,” ITP says in a release.
This new tire features an 8-ply rating and strong radial construction. ITP’s extended-life rubber compound and overlapping tread pattern are designed to provide a smooth, predictable ride as well as slow wear characteristics. As well, ITP says stepped lugs provide consistent tread edges as the tire wears, for predictable performance throughout the long life of the tire. Wraparound lugs provide improved shoulder protection, while a super deep Rim Guard offers what ITP calls “the best wheel lip protection in the business.”
The ITP BajaCross is now available in eight sizes: 25x8R-12, 25x10R-12, 26x9R-12, 26x11R-12, 26x10R-14, 26x11R-14, 28x10R-14 and 30x10R-14.
ITP’s UltraCross was the first dedicated ATV/UTV tire able to mount on tall 15-inch wheels. Its tightly spaced, overlapping lug pattern are designed to provide lower rolling resistance and a quiet, comfortable ride.
In an effort to accommodate even greater application opportunities, ITP has designed a new 30-inch R-Spec UltraCross. The new R-Spec features a more open, non-directional design offering increased traction and versatility. Additionally, the new 30-inch UltraCross is designed around a 14-inch wheel diameter, offering even more wheel design and feature options than ever before.
This radial now carries an 8-ply rating to withstand the most challenging off-road demands, and ITP says its new “R-Spec” tread design is perfectly suited for hard terrain, higher-speed desert use and slick rock conditions.
“This could be the tire that fans of rock crawling have been waiting for, and it’s waiting at powersports dealers everywhere,” ITP says in a release.
