Polaris Unveils Ranger XP 900 Deluxe

While the Polaris Ranger family is best known as work-oriented, Polaris may be trying to change that view with its newest addition – the Ranger XP 900 Deluxe. With this Ranger, Polaris is hoping to appeal to consumers looking for a UTV that can work and play.

The more-utilitarian bench seat was replaced with bolstered cut-and-sew bucket seats featuring an adjustable driver’s seat. Other more trail-friendly features include a center console with integrated storage and color-matched half doors that should offer more rider protection. Perhaps the most interesting feature is a factory-installed audio system in the dash. A splashy Nuclear Sunset paint job completes the package.

Of course, this machine is still a Ranger at heart and can help you get your work done. It is powered by the ProStar 900 engine and features On-Demand True All-Wheel Drive, 2000-pound towing capacity, 1000-pound cargo box capacity and 1500-pound total payload capacity. As well, the Ranger XP 900 Deluxe’s cab frame is ready to accept Polaris’ Pro-Fit Cab systems and the vehicle’s bed is Lock & Ride capable.

The Ranger XP 900 Deluxe will be available in dealerships in January for $16,499 ($18.699 in Canada).
