Yamaha Grizzly 450 EPS honored by Field & Stream

Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., has received Field & Stream magazine’s “Best of the Best” award for the new 2011 Grizzly 450 with Electric Power Steering (EPS). The 2010 recognition gives Yamaha a clean sweep for its power steering models – the 2007 Grizzly 700 EPS, 2009 Grizzly 550 EPS and now 2011 Grizzly 450 EPS have all been named “Best of the Best” since Yamaha introduced power steering to the ATV world in 2006.

According to Field & Stream, the Best of the Best judging criteria include the significance of the innovation, the quality of the design, and the value it brings to hunters. The Grizzly 450 EPS will be featured in the September 2010 issue of Field & Stream.

“The ‘Best of the Best’ is one of the outdoor industry’s biggest awards, and Yamaha is proud to be a four-time winner including all of our top utility ATVs and the Rhino 700 Side-by-Side vehicle,” says Steve Nessl, Yamaha’s marketing manager. “Outdoorsmen use these machines for scouting, hauling, food plotting and various other challenging hunting situations. Whether we are talking about the mid-size or big bore class, the Grizzly line’s off-road capabilities and reputation for durability and reliability make these vehicles stand out for customers who collect the best gear.”

2011 Yamaha Grizzly 450 EPS

The new Yamaha Grizzly 450 EPS comes with Yamaha’s industry-leading electric power steering, a new one-piece frame and an all-new rear sealed wet brake. It also incorporates Yamaha’s Ultramatic automatic transmission with CVT clutch system, On-Command 2WD, 4WD and 4WD with full diff-lock, and four-wheel independent suspension. It is available this summer in Hunter Green, Steel Blue and Realtree AP HD camo.
